The Caribbean Water Management Programme Inc. (CBWMP Inc.) is the successor organisation to the Caribbean Basin Water Management Programme (CBWMP) - a regional organisation of water utilities dedicated to serving the growth and development needs of its members. CBWMP Inc was formed to continue and build on the work of the CBWMP. It was incorporated in Barbados in 1996 and, initially under the arrangement with the Caribbean Environmental and Health Institute (CEHI), operated from CEHI’s offices in St. Lucia. CBWMP Inc. headquarters is now located in a separate office in St. Lucia.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Caribbean Basin Water Management Programme Inc is to provide for the sustainable growth and development of Caribbean Water Utilities and the promotion of water and water related issues through the delivery of quality training and utilizing collective resources and experiences.

Vision Statement

CBWMP Inc is committed to assisting its member utilities in forging pathways of sustainable growth and development that will result in their being world-class water and wastewater utilities that provide outstanding value-for-money to customers.

CBWMP Inc will:

• provide member utilities with opportunities to be at the cutting edge of the management of water and wastewater organisations by establishing linkages with regional and international institutions

• provide member utilities with the opportunity to obtain quality training at an affordable cost

• provide an environment that facilitates member utilities in pursuing quality operations

• facilitate member utilities in providing quality of work life for all its staff

• facilitate member utilities in providing opportunities for its members to be engaged in continuous learning and personal growth, thereby empowering them to provide the very best service to customers and the community.
